Professional Development Workshop Offerings

Alongside my scholarship and applied work, I am passionate about building bridges for others to do their best work, whether that be in terms of navigating the workplace, maximizing experiences in higher education, or building strong professional networks. I do so by developing and facilitating workshops based on personal experiences and evidence-based practices, and below is some information about the three kinds of workshops I currently provide. You can view other offerings on the Workshops page!

Evidence-based Hiring and Selection

Grounded in my academic research on recruitment, selection, and bias, and informed by consulting work with organizations, these workshops help career professionals and job seekers alike navigate the complexities of hiring. Participants gain actionable strategies to recognize and reduce bias, sharpen interviewing practices, and strengthen decision-making with evidence-based tools.

Leadership and Mentor Development

Drawing on my experience in talent management consulting and in facilitating professional development in different settings, these workshops equip participants to maximize leadership opportunities and strengthen mentorship skills. Designed for employees, managers, and future leaders, they emphasize evidence-based approaches to professional growth that improve both individual careers and organizational culture.

Academic Pathways & Research Skills

As a PhD-level researcher and educator who has mentored undergraduate and graduate students, I bring both firsthand experience and structured frameworks to these workshops. These sessions are designed to demystify the research process, prepare students for graduate school, and provide tools for success in academic and professional transitions.
